Every year they are making lounge wear look fashionable! The fashion is in the shoulder cutout. Not only did Vetements showcase this trend, but other designers such as Jeremy Scott did as well. This will be a big trend Spring 2017 so be on the look out!

Remember when being in girl scouts was cool? Well the sash is back and it’s better than ever! The boycott sash hit the runway in many shows this New York Fashion Week. Make sure you hop on this trend before it’s hot.
(Phillip Lim Spring 2017)
We talked about the shoulder cutout being a hot trend, now it’s time to talk about the sleeve slits. This simple slit in your sleeve can take your outfit from drab to fab! It’s very trendy and gives a sophisticated look.

Another saturday another fashion event to network at. On Saturday July 30th, Chicago’s fashion savys came out to ‘Cocktails With Claire x Miss Diddy’. Hosted at 19 East venue, the evening included a panel of personalities and influencers in the fashion and beauty industry discussing ways we can all use our creativity to its full potential.
The panel consisted of Claire Sulmers (FashionBombDaily,) Miss Diddy (The Brand Group,)Kendra G. (107.5 WGCI-FM), celebrity make-up artist Ashunta Sheriff, and entrepreneur Bobby Simmons.
We had the opportunity to sip and shop with fellow fashionistas. After the panel, attendees mixed and mingled with vendors, sipped complimentary drinks sponsored by Hennessy, and posed for pictures.
If you follow me on snapchat @chichi_nneka you would know I explained this selfie moments with claire herself.
We posed for a pic with claire and my friend Coco who also is a fashionGirl owner of Shopwithcoco
My look for the event was simple with a little detail.
Excited, Something great happened from attending this event. #networking, will be visible soon.
Another fun collaboration with RedHedCreativeStudio project #ChiChiInTheCity #ChicagoStreetStyle. We shot this entire look at the Dusable bridge, the bridge carries Michigan Avenue across the main stem of the Chicago River in downtown Chicago, Illinois. Unfortunately for us it was also Taste of Chicago weekend so you can imagine how crowded and busy downtown was. We still managed to get some good wide range shot without anyone in the background.
My look for the day was this lightweight semi fitted short sleeve button down shirt, perfect for sunny days or warm nights. It goes perfectly with jeans or a fitted skirt. My button up turned into a sleevless shirt, thanks to my handy dandy scissors.
Never underestimate the power of a button down. Now double that statement when it comes to a classic stripe button down shirt. Button down shirt is one of the most versatile garments a woman could own, from it’s ability to challenge the vibe you are trying to set to overall changing your whole look.
The versatilely can go from high fashion, casual cute, preppy, to the clean crisp look.
The bag I am carrying is by an European desigher Nine by Anita Loncar.
